As my family are traditional Indians, they believe that a career in medicine or law would be more successful until I explained how useful and beneficial public relations is in today’s society.
In the 21st Century PR is used by companies and organisations to raise awareness of products, services and even individuals. Public relations changes the perceptions and attitudes of individuals and helps them form an opinion.
I am looking forward to completing my Masters in public relations. By the end of my year ,I shall know what PR is, how it is carried out and why and lots of other useful information. This course shall also provide me with the skills needed for a job as a public relations practitioner.
